Start mining with cTokens

If you've got cTokens that are sitting in your wallet and not mining yet, this is where you want to be!

To start, head to the Start Mining page. At the top, select the "Advanced" tab

Here, you'll see two more tabs - choose "Energize cTokens" to get started.

You can see this wallet has 28.3 cBTC ready to start mining. Click "max" to populate the field on the left, or type in how many tokens you want to use to start mining.

After you've selected the amount you want to mine with, you'll see how much BTC you can expect to mine per month, and the electricity fee for the duration you choose.

In this case, the user will mine approximately 0.0004 BTC per month and it will cost $88 total for the 3 month duration. The cost-per-kilowatt is displayed as well, at $0.0698 per kWh.

Scroll down and click Confirm after you've made your duration selection and you'll be taken to the page to pay for electricity. Only KDA is accepted as payment at this time. It will auto-fill the amount of KDA you need to start mining.

Click confirm to be taken to the final screen to show your expected earnings and sign the transaction.

After your transaction has been signed and succeeds, you can see your new contract on the My Earnings dashboard!
